The book may well be considered as the finest and simplest introduction to the teachings of the Buddha yet written in English in this part of the world. Papers in this volume are easily understandable and carefully written to give a comprehensive exposition in a clearest way, not only to the intending student, but also to help pursue further studies and research in the field of comparative religion and philosophy.
